Oh, thank heavens for this! I have been so apathetic about the race this year. But Palin seems like a real outside-the-beltway powerhouse. She's
frighteningly competent, from the looks of her; I mean, I have this feeling that she could shoot a bear, skin it, and make a rug and a tasty stew, all without
ruining her makeup. I guess I should rein myself in and wait to hear more about her, but I'm just so excited to have someone in the race that I want to
learn about! I'm so tired of candidates that have already been so well vetted in the press that they are just another safe old guy choice.
