Anyone watching?
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

I watched a bit of the mens gymnastics yesterday. Completely missed the opening ceremony, and I heard it was spectactular.

Haven't watched a bit of it. Just read about it on-line.

The 4x100 men's relay in swimming last night was possibly the most remarkable thing I've ever seen on TV. Just those last five or so strokes of the
anchor leg, as the anchor swimmer (sorry, temporary lapse on his name and too lazy to look) just *pulled* himself in front of the French team for the win.
Incredibly fast split. And, not only did five of the eight teams break the WR set that morning, all eight teams in the pool swam faster than the previous WR
pace. Amazing.
